Renee Lauer is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department, focusing her practice on title examination, closings, and contract compliance. She is experienced in the practical application of real estate law, having previous experience preparing Reports of Closing based on recorded documents, as well as reviewing title commitments. This direct experience provides an advanced understanding of the documents and processes crucial to successful real estate transactions.
Academically, Ms. Lauer graduated Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where she was recognized for her legal writing and academic achievement, earning the Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property.
Ms. Lauer passed the July 2025 UBE Bar Exam and was admitted in New York State in January of 2026.
