Steven M. Cohen Presents on “Personal Protection & the Law” Seminar

On July 8, Tiveron Law’s Criminal & Litigation Chair, Steven M. Cohen served as a featured presenter as part of a three-hour educational seminar titled “Personal Protection and the Law” at Wolcott Guns in Depew, New York. 

The seminar focused on important legal and practical issues surrounding self-defense, personal protection, and responsible gun ownership in New York State. Steve spoke about recent landmark New York State court decisions that affect gun owners, including new regulations and best practices individuals should keep in mind when it comes to protecting themselves legally. 

The event also featured a WNY-based Law Enforcement Officer, which offered attendees a well-rounded perspective on the legal responsibilities and real-world considerations involved in self-defense situations. For those who have questions about personal protection, the seminar provided helpful insight into how the law applies and why responsible decision-making is so important.
