Doreen E. Letty

As an attorney in the real estate department, Ms. Letty oversees the everyday operations of all aspects of the real estate practice, including buy/sell, mortgage handling, and all transactions requiring litigation or attention beyond the standard closing procedure. She is also the principal title insurance attorney who examines titles, prepares preliminary title reports, resolves title problems, and issues final title insurance policies through various title insurance agencies to ensure that our clients, whether they are purchasers or banks, are fully protected against adverse title claims that may arise as a consequence of their purchase or financing of a particular piece of property.

Ms. Letty has previous experience in bankruptcy matters, evictions, and collections. She has also appeared extensively in Supreme, County, City, and Local Courts, including Small Claims Courts in various jurisdictions, relative to collection matters, civil motions, contract disputes, foreclosures, and evictions.
