James Maloney works Of Counsel for Tiveron Law. Mr. Maloney’s practice focuses exclusively on representing clients facing serious criminal charges. He has extensive trial experience practicing as a Criminal Defense litigator for over thirty years.

A long-standing member of the Assigned Counsel Panel, Mr. Maloney is approved to handle the most serious criminal matters in Erie County, including charges of vehicular homicide and murder. He is also a Wyoming and Genesee County Conflict Panel member, where he is asked to handle cases the Public Defender’s Office cannot.    

Mr. Maloney is also renowned as one of Western New York’s premier D.W.I./D.U.I. defense attorneys. Certified in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, “ARIDE,” and a field sobriety instructor, Mr. Maloney’s training and experience afford his clients unparalleled legal representation.  

Mr. Maloney is a transformative attorney with a diverse background in law enhanced by a wealth of experience in leadership positions in several area charity/non-profit organizations. Additionally, James is an accomplished triathlete, having completed two Ironman’s, four Ironman 70.3s, and multiple local triathlons.
